Statfold Barn Festival 2020 statement

This summer’s Statfold Barn Festival in Tamworth has been cancelled following the Coronavirus pandemic.
Organisers have taken the very difficult decision after closely following government actions and guidance during the COVID19 outbreak in the UK, as well as consulting with all partners.
Festival promoters, Alex Farrell and Paul Brindley, said “We have been waiting for as long as possible to see if we could make this year’s Statfold Barn Festival work. But it has become clear, taking into consideration all the government guidelines on the lockdown restrictions and on social distancing advice, that the only option is to cancel.
“We have a responsibility to our visitors, crew, volunteers, performers and sponsors, so we have been closely monitoring all developments before making a final decision. We appreciate that there will also be a financial impact as a result of this cancellation – not just for us, but also our partners, suppliers, traders, Statfold Barn Railway, our fabulous host venue, and our wider community.”
“It’s all the more heart-breaking as everyone has been working so hard in order to make this year’s festival a huge success, which it was all set to be, particularly after being hit by the bad weather challenges last summer in our first year. Cancelling this year has made us both all the more determined to put on a spectacular festival when we get to return.
“All ticket holders will be contacted very soon with refund information. We will be in touch about future plans when we can. In the meantime, please follow the government’s advice and stay safe.”
Ticket refund policy
You will receive an email directly from SeeTickets to confirm your refund.
The refund will be the ticket value only. SeeTickets retain the booking fees (this is out of our hands unfortunately)
Refunds are automatically credited back to the original source of payment and will take up to 10 working days to clear.
Forgotten booking reference number
Your reference number is displayed in the subject of the confirmation email, and again under your name and event name.
If you are unsure of your booking reference number you can enter your email address in the Forgotten Details section at the bottom of the page here. SeeTickets will send you the details of any orders linked to that email which will then take you through to the customer service area and you can track your order. Please ensure this email matches the email address you entered on your booking.
