GETTING TO THE FESTIVAL
When and where will the Statfold Barn Festival take place?
The 2020 festival will take place at Statfold Barn Railway, Ashby Road, Tamworth, Staffs, B79 0BU
It will take place Friday 14th August to Sunday 16th August 2020
What are the opening and closing times?*
Site opens for caravans / motorhomes - 8am
Site opens for camping and glamping - 10am
Main Festival arena opening times - 12pm till 11pm
Main Festival arena opening times - 10am till 11pm
Museum opening times 12pm till 5pm
Roundhouse opening times 12pm till 11pm
Main Festival site opening times - 10am till 10pm

All campers must be off-site by 12 Noon Monday, glampers by 10am.
By Car - We have a limited number of car parking spaces.
Is there car parking?
Car parking is available, but it must be booked online ahead of arrival. The parking area is located adjacent to the festival site. There is also 24 hour security on-site, which includes regular patrols of the parking areas.
Passes to be purchased during ticket booking process. If you forgot to buy your pass when booking your tickets you can go here and purchase one now.
Can I bring my bicycle?
There are no specific cycle-parking facilities. We are unable to take responsibility for cycles secured to anything in the festival ground, campsite or car park. Please note, bicycles are not permitted on the festival ground.
Bus transportation from Tamworth
We will arrange for a bus service. Please revisit this page for information nearer the time.
Who will be on and when?
We are currently securing the performers, and they will be released up until the event. We will have headliners and subliners each night supporting by a collection of fantastic new and upcoming artists.

Can I get a refund on my ticket(s)?
Please note we do not offer any refunds or exchanges on tickets.
How do I get my festival wristband?
If you purchased a ticket online, please print and bring the confirmation email with you. This will be exchanged for the correct wristband at the gate when you arrive.
Can I share a wristband with my friend?
No, wristbands are assigned to one person, as one ticket buys one wristband.
Can I re-enter the site?
Yes, once you have your wristband you can leave and enter as many times as you wish
Can I buy a ticket on the day?
I’ve lost/misplaced my confirmation email
When booking your tickets online, you will receive a confirmation email from SeeTickets. This will be sent within 15 minutes of your transaction being processed. This email will include the details of your order including; ticket type, date and number.
If you haven’t received a confirmation email, have lost/deleted it, or you’re not sure whether or not your booking went through, first check it hasn't gone into your junk mail folder. If you still cannot locate it, please contact SeeTickets directly https://www.seetickets.com/customerservice
You will need this confirmation printed or able to show on your phone to get into the festival. Each ticket has a unique barcode.
What does my VIP ticket get me?
We are currently putting the packages together. Check back for more information.
Any complimentary tickets must not be resold.
If you wish to sell your tickets purchased through SeeTickets, they have a fan to fan resale section on their website.
Children at the festival
All under 16’s must be accompanied by a paying adult aged 18+ (maximum 2 children per adult). Those aged 16-17 do not need supervision but cannot supervise those aged under 18 themselves.
We also run a Challenge 25 policy on all of our bars.
U16 tickets are valid for children between the ages of 6 and 15.
Children under 5 years old may enter for free when accompanied by a paying adult (aged 18+).
Everyone must have some form of ID with them. Our staff reserve the right to question the age of anyone entering the festival. Valid of forms ID include passport, student ID, drivers licence, valid UK cards or any other photo ID.
Is it suitable for young children?
This is a family festival, curated for people of all ages. Bear in mind the music will be very loud late into the night. Younger children may want to wear ear defenders.
ENJOYING THE FESTIVAL
Is everything free once I am inside?
All the entertainment, activities and music is free, except for the fairground which will charge per ride. We will have independent market stalls selling clothing, childrens items and, of course, you can purchase food and drinks from various traders on site.
Can I bring a picnic?
You can bring your own food to the campsite, but please do not attempt to take your own food and drink into the main festival areas as we will have to confiscate. We have secured a varied selection of street food vendors which cater for all tastes.
Due to licensing restrictions you are not permitted to bring your own alcohol onto the festival site itself, please do not be offended if we ask to search your bags. Any alcohol found will be disposed of. There will be plenty of places and opportunities to purchase alcohol on the festival site.
You are permitted to take your own alcohol onto the campsite. Amounts for personal use only.
Can we bring in tables and chairs?
We allow folding chairs to be brought in and set up in the main arena – please note, our policy is one chair per person and these chairs must be foldable. We encourage you to bring your own folding chair.
We do not allow tables, gazebos, laysacs, windbreakers or tents.
What can’t I bring in to the festival site?
No bottles, cans, containers, food or large furniture. Water and non-alcoholic drinks in plastic bottles with unbroken seals are permitted. Absolutely no glass.
We encourage the use of reusable plastic bottles.
Will there be any covered areas if it rains?
There will be some covered bars, but otherwise this is an open-air festival. We do not provide full rain cover.
Is there a central meeting point?
The festival is small enough to locate one another, so we do not have a designated meeting point. We will have a lost child area which will clearly identified.
Lost or damaged property
We are sorry if any of your personal property is lost or damaged whilst at the Statfold Barn Festival. Neither the festival organisers or Statfold Barn Railway can be held responsible.
We will do our very best to reunite all lost property with its owners after the festival, so please email email@example.com with details of the item lost once you return home.
Is there phone charging available?
We are only supplying phone charging within the VIP section. We recommend you bring power banks to charge your personal phones.
Are there medical facilities on-site?
Anyone with a medical problem during the festival open times should go to the First Aid Point located which will be clearly signposted. In an emergency you should contact any member of event staff.
If you need medical assistance overnight we have 24/7 cover.
If you are a victim of crime or are worried about someone else, please contact festival security on-site.
There will be designated smoking areas clearly marked out and signposted. Smoking is not allowed in any of the marquees or structures.
What facilities are available for disabled visitors?
We will try to make the festival as accessible as possible to those with special needs.
Disabled car parking spaces will be closest to the main festival field. Please purchase a standard car park pass, then show your blue badge on arrival.
The main festival arena has a disabled viewing area and easy access toilets, however, please be aware that the ground is uneven in places. If you have particular needs, get in touch with us in advance we will do our best to help.
How can I bring my personal assistant or carer?
Yes, we offer a free place for carers. These can be purchased via SeeTickets.
Verification when you arrive can be by one of the following;
Proof of Disability Living Allowance (DLA) / Attendance Allowance (AA)
Proof of Personal Independence Payments (PIPs)

Open fires and disposable BBQs are not permitted
Generators are not permitted
Please use bins provided
Only purpose built gas stoves with small gas bottles (2.2kg) are permitted, no spare bottles to be brought
Cars and motorbikes are not permitted onto the campsite
No sound systems will be permitted on site
Pitches will be allocated on a first come, first served basis
Sleeping in cars overnight in the car park is not permitted
Strictly no fire/Chinese lanterns on site
Strictly no fireworks on site
No glass onsite (including alcohol bottles)
Please remain vigilant to fire safety in order to help keep yourselves and other festival goers safe
Can I camp for just one night?
If you buy a weekend camping pass you can camp for 1, 2 or 3 nights but the cost remains the same. Camping is only available to those who purchase camping tickets in advance. All tents need to be set up on the Friday from 12 Noon.
Will I be able to park my car next to my tent?
Unfortunately, it is one of our licence conditions that cars must be parked in a separate area. It is much safer for all if the campsite is closed to vehicles.
What do I get in the glamping bell tent?
If you upgrade to a bell tent you have the space furnished. Furnished means you will get mattresses (for the right number of people), fitted sheets, duvets, pillows, rugs, throws and battery-operated lamps.
My friends are glamping, can I camp with them?
No, the glamping area is specifically for people who have purchased one of the glamping bell tents. It is prohibited to pitch a tent in the glamping area.
What is the latest time I can arrive on the campsite.
The gates to the campsite will be closed at 10:00pm on Friday 9th August and will reopen on Saturday morning at 10:00am
How long can I camp for?
If you have a Weekend Camping Ticket, your tickets include Friday, Saturday and Sunday night camping, should you wish to spend the whole weekend with us. Catering and toilet facilities will remain open until Monday morning.

What size are the camping pitches?
We do not allocate pitches or define pitch sizes. Please be considerate when pitching your tent. If you are using an unreasonable amount of space you may be asked to re-pitch or take some tents down.
Please note we do not allow gazebos or windbreakers to be pitched in the campsites as we have limited space to comfortably fit everyone into.
As is the way at all festivals you should expect to camp close to your neighbours - you're almost certain to get on.
Please don't try to reserve space for others, if you wish to camp with others please meet beforehand and enter the camp site together.
Tents cannot be secured. Please do not leave any valuables in your tent.

SAFETY AND SECURITY
Your safety and security is our number one priority. With this in mind there will be bag searches in place.
Here are some tips;
Leave all your valuables at home
Keep everything on you hidden
Don't padlock your tent, this just invites thieves in
Think about getting an ID wristband for your child (All Under 5's will receive a free write-on wristband)
Be aware and discreet (don't show off wads of cash)
Make friends with your neighbours -. camping or seated at the festival site
Be aware of everything around you. Look after yourself and look after others.
