The Round House Museum will be open at certain times during the festival for visitors to look round.
Tamworth-based promoter, Alex Farrell, said: “We are delighted and very excited to be teaming up with the owners of Statfold Barn Railway, Graham and Carol Lee, to launch this brand-new festival which we are planning to make a permanent fixture in the outdoor music calendar.
“We’ve chosen acts who we know will appeal to festival goers of all ages and bring new visitors to the area. And we’ll be adding more star names to the line-up in the coming days. But we will also be showcasing the best in local talent with singer/songwriters from across the region performing.
“However, it’s not just about the music. We are appealing to the whole family and there really will be something for everyone including comedians, children’s entertainment, top quality street food and drink and a brilliant mini fairground.
“And we really want visitors to make the most of their weekend and take up the opportunity of booking a camping spot, one of our exclusive yurts or by bringing their caravan and campervans.
“This festival promises to be one of the highlights in the Midlands this summer and I can’t wait to welcome everybody to the stunning location that is the Statfold Barn Railway.”
Michelle Lees, Events Manager, Statfold Barn Railway, said: “We are all extremely excited to have been selected as the venue for the festival and will be working alongside the organisers of this event to make it an outstanding experience for all who attend.
“Statfold Barn Railway hosts many events throughout the year and I’m sure this annual festival will be one of the events we will look forward to!”
